endgame pairing isn't the usual "met as children and loved forever" -  the leads have romantic relationships and even marriage with someone else first, the love triangle looks like it could go either way, SML has traits of a ML, or the endgame ML has traits of a SML. Also includes those rare instances where the SML actually gets the girl.

I love a distant/difficult man. I've befriended the most difficult man in nearly every job I've worked. A little respect and kindness go a long way. And adults are just little children with layers of experience, trauma, and protective walls. 

Until I discovered K-dramas, I was mostly allergic to romantic comedies. My preferences were science fiction, fantasy, and action, with an odd inclusion of Victorian classics (envision Aliens, Lord of the Rings, Die Hard, and Pride and Prejudice). I don't recall ever going to the movie theatre to see a romantic comedy. Then I stumbled into the world of K-dramas through Squid Game. That led to Alchemy of Souls, and the floodgates opened. Goblin and Tale of the Nine Tailed veered me into the romantic, and I became a fan of certain romantic comedies, especially Korean and Chinese. I still avoid Hollywood romcoms, but if you have a suggestion for a Korean or Chinese one I'd enjoy, please let me know. This is a new world for my dark, cynical heart!

Some dramas listed here don't seem like comedies to me. I've only viewed the ones I've rated; I've had to rely on MDL and other viewers for the comedy tag. I've since watched some tagged "comedy" that were too dark and heavy to remain on this list.
