Dream of the Red Chamber, also called The Story of the Stone, or Hongloumeng (traditional Chinese: 紅樓夢; simplified Chinese: 红楼梦; pinyin: Hónglóumèng), composed by Cao Xueqin, is one of China's Four Great Classical Novels. The novel is based on the rise and fall of the four great families of Jia, Shi, Wang and Xue. The 18th-century novel follows a love triangle between a boy and his two female cousins.

My brother isn’t a fan of Asian dramas now but we watched a bunch of them together growing up. Most of this list are old historical Chinese/Hong Kong/Taiwanese wuxia dramas and films, and tokusatsu. 😅
