Recent Activity Lists
This may be in terms of storytelling/narrative (tone), the mood of the cinematography (atmosphere) or both. In these films there's usually an abundance of visual symbolism and metaphoric storytelling. Most would classify as 'arthouse' features, but there are also some genre films that fit the bill. The more 'artsy' type of pictures are at the top of the list.
Mad Dog: completed drama number 237
A list of my favorite Korean (and some Asian) movies in order of best to not so best. Il Mare was my very first Korean movie and will always remain the most beloved. There are a few classic movies that I have been waiting to see that are not listed: Slimido, Taegukgi, Roaring Currents, The Attorney, and Miracle in Cell No. 7. Not-so-classic movies I want to see are The Suspect, Sunny, Top Star, Architecture 101and Lady Vengeance. Enjoy!
