Recent Activity Lists

Thank you to all the Blue Sky contributors! We couldn't do this without each and every one of you. This is a collaborative list of dramas and movies with professions of artists, whether big or small prominent roles. There are more commercial visual artists included as well, such as graphic designers, illustrators, video game character designer/illustrators, photographers, etc., and a few arts professionals.Note: These are not necessarily recommended to watch as this list is merely listing shows with those professions, not commenting if they are good or not.

Firstly, thank you to all the collaborative list assemblers on BlueSky for helping compile this list of dramas (and some movies) that have author or writer characters in them. For some, the profession of writer/author is a large component of the plot. For others, they are side characters or merely their stated profession without much attention given to them actually working on their written output.  Criteria was large in scope, so novelists, non-fiction authors, blog writers, screenwriters, translators, playwrights, etc. all were included. Journalists who write for online or printed written content newspapers can all apply. If you'd like to add any that we haven't yet, please dm me.  Note: This is a fun, open project and not all of these were recommended dramas to watch. Many are merely documented because they had authors/writers as characters.

I have really high standards for dramas, so congrats to all titles that made it onto this list. I am still struggling with finding a GL I would like enough to put on this list, so if you have a recommendation, hit me up!Some of the criteria the drama has to meet:❀ likable main leads and their chemistry (I don't need kissing or NC scenes, sometimes pinning and longing is as powerful, but only when the actors have the chemistry)❀ unique plot, interesting plot twist or amazing visuals (don't mean actors, mean CGI, lightning or camera shots)❀ adult cast and mature themes are welcomed (but not shunned, because lots of shows are currently taking place at unis)❀ no rape apologizing, no abuse romanticization (those behaviors have to be called out & the perpetrator has to be held responsible)
