Working list of best rom-com series featuring one of my favorite hetero ship dynamics: Woman and Guard Dog.This is for those of us who don't think the guy needs to be everything (the smartest, the strongest, the best at whatever), but will stand back and let a woman do her thang. This is not about being a damsel-in-distress. She has to have subjectivity and drive the plot in a big way, if not totally—not the fighting/action scenes. Also, including a reverse-uno: Man and His Guard Dog. Maybe he's her protector or maybe she's his! (What does NOT count is when we are told how strong/badass she is but never get to see it because he always saves her instead. She has to be the one saving him!!)If you have some recs for me, let me know!
