I hope it maybe will help you in search for new things to watch <3(warning: i didnt like all the dramas on the list, but i put them here anyway since I did watch them)

Some have a broader military theme. Some don't. There's often a lot of saluting or strategizing. 

1 - Dramas primarily set in the first half of the 20th century2 - Dramas primarily set in the 1980s or 1990s (sometimes with a few scenes in the 21st century)3 - Dramas primarily set in the 21st century with a small amount of time travel to or flashbacks to the ancient past4 - Dramas set in the 21st century (sometimes with a few scenes in the 1980s or 1990s)4(A) - Movies set in the 21st century (sometimes with a small amount of time travel to or flashbacks to the 1980s or 1990s)

Romance dramas where the leads are highly competent and don't have any *significant* issues or flaws. The kind of people / couple that inspire awe, admiration and envy.This list does not include dramas where one (or both) lead starts out at the bottom or with significant flaws but later rises up and becomes a highly competent / admirable person.
