List of watched Chinese dramas about modern life. Mostly romance, business, some school/university comedies. Happy endings (at least at this moment).I appreciate dramas that offer confidence, healing, and supportive relationships between family and friends. A logical and consistent script along with high-quality editing are also important to me. These elements significantly influence my rating.I don't like "ex comes back" trope. There is some exceptions like "Fireworks of my heart" but they're not true exes.In this list I've included my comments and overall impressions for each series. All shows are ones I've watched and rated myself. Most of them have a rating of 8 or above on kisskh. Here's my rating system:7: Not bad; I don't regret watching most of them.8: Nice, but it lacks something for me.9: Great; I'll probably rewatch it someday.10: Top-notch, obviously.
The possible plots:MC involuntarily gets thrown back in time to resolve a problem or find whatever or whoever they‘re missing in present day.one (or more *cough* the enemy) person has stayed alive (possibly for centuries) or present in some way (e.g. as a ghost) and has been waiting for the reincarnation of their person. There is a significant location (usually a house) and/or item.the reincarnated MCs discover the memories of their past lives simultanously over time and through trouble. Or: one person knows about their past life and the other does not (yet) but they feel the connection. All of the above happens either with or without magic/supernatural elements. If there‘s only a number I have not found the right words yet to summarize the plot in 2-3 sentences or I just haven‘t watched it yet.And if the list gets too long I will split this into three seperate lists.
The Continuous List of People Who Look Like/Resemble Each Other Physically
If you want to help me prioritize and prune my list, you can vote for the dramas you think I should definitely absolutely keep. In other words, vote for the dramas you consider a "must watch" or at least very worth watching. If you came away thinking, “it was fine” or “I enjoyed it but won’t remember it in two months” don’t vote for those dramas. How my system works: I keep a shorter list of dramas I’m sure I want to watch on My Watchlist. This is an extended list that also includes dramas I’m interested in but still on the fence about. The idea is that some of the additional dramas I have here will eventually make it onto the official list or alternatively get thrown out. I will update the contents of this list as I watch these dramas, find new dramas to add, or decide I’m no longer interested and am ready to delete a title. FYI, the dramas at the very top of this list are already "safe" on my PTW list. I'm not saying don't vote for them if you loved them, but it's mostly the dramas further down the list that I'm still deciding on.
Crime dramas with hints of romance, slow burn tention, heated looks that scream they could be so much more. In some shows the characters actually get together, but in some it's open ending where we make ending in our heads and they end up together. (Police work/ Detective work - crime solving, or just one of the characters being in that department, fighting crime)
