QLs that could have had poly just means that a poly situation could be imagined with some of the characters in the show. But the exclusion of poly doesn't hurt the final product. Some of these are more like: I have read fanfic that made this work so now I think it could work but there is no basis in the text. And other are like the show doesn't contradict a poly reading, but also doesn't neccessarly support it.
