Ao Shen is a Chinese director, screenwriter, editor and producer in mainland China. He graduated from the directing department of the Beijing Film Academy.
In 2009, he wrote and directed his first short film "The Opposite Shore", which won the second prize in the student short film section of the Spanish San Sebastián International Film Festival and the Best KingBonn Short Film award at the 1st China International New Media Short Film Festival.
