Zhao Lu Si is a Chinese actress and singer born in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, China.

She entered the entertainment industry by co-hosting the variety programme "Mars Intelligence Agency". In 2017, she made her acting debut with a minor role in the film "City of Rock".

In 2018, she debuted in the drama, "Untouchable Lovers" (凤囚凰). In 2020, she appeared in the drama, "The Romance of Tiger and Rose" (传闻中的陈芊芊). Her performance in the latter earned her the Best Actress award at the 7th Hengdian Film and Television Awards as well as the Tencent Video Star Awards' Breakthrough TV Actor of the Year award.

In 2021, she won the Asian Star Prize award at the Seoul International Drama Awards 2021 for "The Long Ballad" (长歌行). In 2022, she won the 18th Chinese American TV Festival - Golden Angel Award's Outstanding Actress award for "Love Like The Galaxy" (星汉灿烂•月升沧海).

In 2023, Versace named her its new global brand ambassador, with chief creative officer Donatella Versace stating she loved her style, energy, and spirit. In May 2024, she was announced as one of the torchbearers for the 2024 Summer Olympics.

In December 2024, she suspended all professional activities due to health issues, revealing she had been battling depression since 2019. Her friends alleged she had experienced workplace abuse at her management agency. She made her first public appearance since her recovery on January 25, 2025, at a charity event.

On August 4, 2025, she went public with her contractual dispute with her agency, alleging unauthorized withdrawals from her personal studio’s account. By October 2025, she signed under Alibaba’s entertainment division, Hujin DME, which secured new drama roles and helped resolve her agency dispute — marking her return to Chinese entertainment.
