Kim Soo Hyun (Kim Su Hyeon) est un acteur, mannequin et chanteur sud-coréen né le 16 février 1988 à Seoul. Enfant, Kim Soo Hyun était un enfant timide. Afin de l'aider à vaincre sa timidité, sa mère l'a encouragé à prendre des cous de théâtre. Il débute sa carrière en 2007 avec la sitcom « Kimchi Cheese Smile », mais c'est en 2011 qu'il attire l'attention dans « Dream High ». Par la suite, il enchaînera les projets : « Moon Embracing the Sun », « My Love from the Star » ou encore « The Producers » et continuera sa carrière d'acteur et chanteur.

- Pour son rôle dans « My Lover From The Stars », il s'est entraîné à écrire de la main droite.
- Ses loisirs sont le bowling, le chant, le ski, la plongée et la photographie.
- Kim Soo Hyun a débuté son service militaire obligatoire le 23 octobre 2017. Il a été affecté au 1er bataillon de reconnaissance. En février 2019, il a été promu sergent. Il a été libéré de ses fonctions et est retourné à la vie civile le 1er juillet 2019.
