Hazumi Tsuneo was a Japanese film critic and film producer born in Tokyo. He also made his debut as a screenwriter when he was 23. His real name is Matsumoto Eiichi, and he is different from the film director Matsumoto Eiichi, who was active in the era of silent films.

In 1934, at the age of 25, he became the director of the advertising department of Towa Shoji.

In 1946, he transferred to Toho and became a film producer, and a year later in 1947, he transferred to Shintoho.

He died on June 6, 1958, at the age of 49. Edit Biography
