Alfie Chen is a Taiwanese film director. He graduated with a master's degree in directing from National Taiwan University of Arts and Beijing Film Academy. Originally an independent film director and curator of independent film festivals, he founded the Taiwan Guerrilla Film Movement and served as the coordinator of "New Taiwan Film Climax" of the Film Division of the Information Bureau of the Executive Yuan of Taiwan. In 2011, he served as the new media creative director of Hyundai Media Group, and then left in the follow years to to return to the film industry.
