I'm not sure about the watchman's
appearance either. But that watchman hurt his shoulder and right arm when he fought with jang taehwa so there should be scars. Siyeol is very likely to be injured later, and we may figure it out whether Siyeol was that watchman back then with these details…

there is a theory that siyeol and hongjoo are about the same age, so siyeol may 5-8 years older than san. I also noticed the close-up shot of ep 2, where the watchman stepped on the ornament that hongjoo gave to her fiancé, I think the shot was put intentionally. Plus siyeol said he drank with someone who was about to get married, and that day was the worst day of his life... so still, great chance it was him…

Also, from the bts video, siyeol and hongjoo seem to have an official cp name too? The name is "hongsi (홍시)", which literally means persimmon in korean, very cute!

If siyeol really killed hongjoo's fiancé, even if they could have a happy end at last, I would think it's unreasonable. But part of me is still looking forward to the angst between siyeol and hongjoo!!! So conflicted!!
