CXX has a romcom drama coming out in a few days w Wang Yuwen and the plot sounds fun!

I'm excited for this, the plot is kinda similar to Life As We Know It which is such a cute movie

this has become one of my favorite dramas i'll miss them! can't wait to rewatch in a few months and experience them again haha

tbf the scenes itself aren't that explicit, but there's so many instances and he's almost always the one who initiates. spoiler but one time (b4 they fr started their relationship) she's having an explicit dream and half-asleep she realizes she's fr feeling it and she wakes up and realizes he was doing it w her while she's asleep (okay yes the ethics of this are verryyyy iffy buttt yeah he is such a horny character😭)

exactly! he was a sweet man who simply wanted to live a peaceful, successful life and keep his father's legacy alive. if he had taken revenge and wanted an eye for an eye that would have invited so many other problems and would have put his coworkers and family at risk which is obviously something he would never want. he found the most realistic and calm solution that would help solve this problem without endangering anyone.

I feel like I'm thinking too deep about this drama because I have an adopted uncle as well that is fairly young and that I barely know and I genuinely could not imagine a world where this could ever happen because that's still my uncle man even if I've only met him twice in my life

okay I haven't gotten to their marriage yet so maybe this is addressed but my question is would that even be allowed? it says online that marriage between niece and uncle is prohibited in China (yes ik they are not blood related nor did they grow up w each other) however on the family registry he is still listed as the child of her grandfather so how would they even go about registering this marriage

maybe this is just chinese office culture but I've seen so many dramas where the fl will wear a blazer w shorts and it's just so silly to me because idk any corporate office where that would be allowed

listen i know they're going to make some sort of justification or whatever but I'm feeling bad for that Wei Lan girl because if I came back from the dead and in like a few months my man had married and fallen for another girl I don't even know what I'd do with myself

this is going to be an unpopular opinion but after watching episode 9 I completely get why she broke up with him. marriage is not the end goal for everyone and she told him that earlier and he still didn't respect her wishes and did marriage planning behind her back. in addition, the lack of trust and anger he showed when dealing with that yu si situation is disrespectful and immature. yes obviously she isn't perfect but he was the problem too and she was justified in breaking up with him but also justified in mourning him and their relationship. there was a lack of trust and boundaries from him and she didn't want to put up with that but she obviously still loved him.

i agree with you but the reasons you wrote are most likely why lol. this drama is a bit too realistic and most people probably don't like that
