I am just scared Vegas will die because in the novel he met with an accident after his dad dies and goes into coma. So if the screenwriters decided to alter it, I am gonna sleep and cry for days. I am honestly scared.

Vegas's dad dies. But I am not sure that he will be the only one to die. Because as far as I know they changed the storyline quite a bit from the novel. So expect the unexpected.

Yes, a hug would do. Even in the novel, there was nothing explicit between them. And I think, such scenes are not the only way to show love. Good example of such kind of BLs are Cherry Magic and a Tale of thousand stars. Less skinship, more cute moments. Hehe.
