I think its most likely an arranged marriage or marriage of convenience...in original timeline piseang must have never found love...and his friends pushed him towards pear...and he said he knew pear from childhood...so may be their parents also were involved in this and pear also likes piseang and she is a nice girl...so may be piseang also agreed to marry her....in original timeline there were chances of piseang and botkawees story but kawi...closed off himself and never went out with piseang like piseang invited him for the buddy thing......now it has changed as they are interacting and spending time together...piseang may be falling for kawi🤔

Pear likes piseang...but piseang only thinks her as a friend...his and pears families are friends....so in original timeline...eventhough he didn't liked her as a lover...he still agrees to marry her....but later kawi comes and he falls for kawi...thats how things in novel goes.
