The Oath of Love (2022) - This drama centers on an uplifting romance between a doctor and a cellist. There is a small break up but break up was not drug out for too long and the parents were not to bad on not accepting their relationship. Unlike typical C-drama, it is a straight forward story, not many jealousy, bullying and confusion. It’s a romance between 10 yrs age gap adult and young college kid. They seems to be so different in personality, social status and etc, but they are actually made in heaven.
The long ballad - empowering, female focused historical drama The drama is well constructed from start to finish. There is a beautiful progression and evolution of the story. The characters will experience many diverse and varied, sad and happy adventures. They will meet new characters, learn new things, lose and win. This is not a harem drama, nor a political drama, nor a wuxia drama. So it really stands out from other historical dramas. I highly recommend this drama! If you like action, adventures, battles, healthy relationships, beautiful friendships, life lessons, great romances, go for it!
A dream of splendor A Dream of Splendor radiates women empowerment, women teamwork, a woman's self respect and how women can excel in everything. Our leading ladies aren't easy to be fooled, they have their strengths/weaknesses and they go through thick and thin together. They have self respect and just because she was once a "pariah" doesn't mean she doesn't deserve respect and is not capable. Their Chemistry — Zhao Pan'er and Gu Qianfan together are like two people who will give up anything for each other. Their concept of using yellow flowers to express "I miss you", their eye gazes, their longing, their protection for each other and just them being is love is everything. This drama's greatest attraction is the incomparable romance between Zhao Panér and Gu Qianfan. I would recommend this, there is a small separation but not due to misunderstanding but the fact that ML loves her too much to hurt her due to his father's mistake.
Arsenal Military Academy this chinese drama arsenal military academy deserve season 2. Great Cast Chemistry. Slow Burn Romance, This show is overall amazing. Fantastic casting- the actors are amazing and I especially like Instructor Guo, the funny and cuteness of Gu Yanshen and cool badass of Xeng Xiang. This has been one of the best cdramas I’ve seen. Brilliant acting, storyline and pace. Humour, romance (without the cringe factor), love triangle, action, political conspiracy - its got it all. The acting was spot on.
Can someone recommend dramas with cunning, smart FL with happy endings if they come across. I cant stand dramas where they potray the female as stupid or clumsy and unable to stand up for herself.
Fall In Love (2021) I enjoyed watching male lead scheme to get his way, in a good way of course. He comes off as a jerk but that's just a cover. Female lead is a smart business woman and she knows what she wants, whether in business or love. She doesn't allow male lead to string her along and she stands up for herself. one episode of break up but it is all an act the ML plays to keep the FL safe, but she is aware of it and acts accordingly.
In the first half of the drama, main FL was in love with the SML, they promised to marry each other. ML, FL, SML…
similar to this is Young blood. Similar visual feeling. GO into your heart is another one which is similar. ~Here also the FL lead falls in lve with another guy. Even though this one similarity is only there, you will enjoy this drama as it has an interesting storyline
The sword and the brocade The romance is slow but its a teasing type of slow like any other love after marriage dramas. Its a well produced period drama. The story is well written and sweetly manage to balance reality with fiction. The fact that having several concubines, the harsh reality of a concubine's and legitimate daughter issues, all portrayed in a logical aspect and amidst all that is our heroine trying to overcome one challenge after another while trying to survive in a family with a trillion rules. With a supportive husband who trusts her implicitly, the two make and unbeatable team against their adversaries. In the end the ML vows not taking any concubines (mother of the ML can provide concubines to the son) and none of his concubines are there at the end only him and the FL
The story of minglan**** It's definitely a slow burn but well worth it. I love the plot, the scheme. This series is so smart, Supportive ML, smart intelligent FL ,no break up. Slow romance and beginning of the series is slow, My recomendation is try to watch 10 episodes of this series before you decide ... its hard to drop it and will draw you in in the second half.
