For a shaman family, they hv spirit to serve. This 1 is a soul selected to be a spirit and old spirit with power. So he is suited for it. Choi geum has different power than the other ghost. Like grim reaper, only the chosen 1 can be a GP, not all soul.. But like CCW said, he should told him sooner. Its like he hide it from them

I just love it. The historical scenes are there to explain the shaman power from the generations before, about Choi Gum, and the virtue he has to collect. My only complain is that, no kisses yet for the modern couple. CCW reminded me of Kang Sang Hyuk in Forest when he fell hard in love. All over naver they were complimenting PHJ acting. He should do a full historical drama.
