Okay am I the only one confused why everyone is victim blaming Babe for what happened at the sauna??? Like yes it wasn't the brightest idea but he was literally assaulted by Willy, he didn't intentionally try to cheat on Charlie. I'm not saying Babe's made the best decisions in regard to Willy but being assaulted is NEVER the victims fault
Charlie's side of things was understandable as well, he didn't know the true situation only what he walked in on. But Babe's reaction is valid too! He had no one to comfort him after what happened and considering it's not the first time he's been assaulted that's going to leave some damage on his emotional state
I swear it's like some of the people in the comments completely missed what actually happened in the sauna scene for the sake of just hating on Babe
The chemistry is CHEMISTRYING, I had high hopes for JossGawin (especially Gawin cuz he's one of my favs) and they have been SERVING. Curious to see how the plot unfolds cuz I'm getting bad vibes from Thara. Something tells me Nakan isn't the bad guy cuz why would he have let Tong go if he was? Tho I might be slightly biased cuz I love Mond 😅
Also love love the bromance between Tonkla and Tong. Where can I find my own Tonkla 🥲
Dang this part was even harder to watch than in the anime. Poor Akin, he didn't do anything wrong but he's in a such a confused a horrible head-space right now that he doesn't even know how to properly express what happened to Jin. Jin's reaction is totally understandable but it really just adds to the hurt Akin is going through right now. I know things get resolved in the next episode but this part still hurts my heart a bit 💔
There's a lot of comments trashing Tong's character and saying he's making the worst decisions and has no self-preservation but like... that's kind of the point??? This kid was raised incredibly sheltered and while he was told to he careful and what not he wasn't taught to fear people or even how to properly interact with them. In other words, the extent of his social skills are interacting with a bunch of little kids and Tonkla who has even less survival instinct than Tong does
So while I understand the criticisms about his character, I'd say given his upbringing his characterization is pretty accurate. He's naive because he's never had the chance to learn anything else. This is a very different character to see Gawin portray but at least in my opinion, he's doing a pretty stellar job
Having watched Dakaichi years ago (still one of my favorite bl series) this is one of the best live-action adaptations I've seen! Absolutely loved Smart in Don't Say No and Boom is a perfect match for him. Especially impressed with Boom's interpretation of Takato's character since he's pretty complex and he's doing it flawlessly
Couldn't imagine a better pair to portray Chunta and Takato ❤️
Everyone's acting in this episode is absolutely top tier my goodness
For Dunk you can see the sadness in his eyes thinking it was his last night with Fadel while trying to make him happy (man has fallen HARD)
For First you can literally tell when he's pretending to be in love with Bison vs when he's actually being affected by his feelings for him just by looking at his freaking eyes (bar scene giving Only Friends flashbacks for anyone else?)
For Khao I absolutely love how you see the slow realization that Kant betrayed him being a mix of both grief and hatred, he's in so much pain
Finally Joong for me was the star of this episode. You could see the love in his eyes before he even confessed and the tears after finding out Style lied to him were absolutely heartbreaking
Firstkhao is delivering as expected and Joongdunk has really stepped it up with this one. Obsessed ❤️
Loving how we're getting to see Style put down the facade a bit and be more serious. So far him and Fadel feel more real than Kant and Bison (tho both couples are problematic)
Also love how Kant and Bison put their problems aside to punch a pedophile 😂
We're getting so close to the true coming out and I can't wait to see how much of mess it'll be. Kant better be scared for his life cuz Bison wasn't playing around this episode
The acting is so natural I absolutely love it. Wish this show had more recognition cuz it's honestly already one of the best bl's out there as far as making you believe you're watching real people instead of actors playing characters (in my opinion). Also love that we got to see Haruki's pov, his actions make a lot more sense now
