im pretty sure we have nidabambam and tinmawin in the bag. im definitely hoping for alphacharoen as well. though…
yeah i'm pretty sure about the two too because they said there are actually more couples than just ongsasun and aylinluna. but until we see their relationship confirmed on screen, i will be praying for it lol
and alpha and charoen haven't interacted yet iirc. i hope the 12 episodes will be enough to cover the side couples' stories too
does anyone know why does she have so many names including a chinese name under the "also known as"? and does sharing birth name with someone else affect her career? i genuinely want to know
You ever just cry after watching a good drama? Pyramid Game is one of the best Kdramas I ever watched in my 10+ years of being a fan. I was hoping they will end it in just one season but I want to see more of the Suji, Jaeun, Yerim, Jaehyeong and Jiae squad. It's a bittersweet feeling. I will definitely miss this drama and the cast. And I hope they will bag some awards at the end of the year
Hm, caught up now and I think this show is losing me lol. I'm kind of getting sick of that moon-faced stare that's…
to be fair, this is her debut work so she might not be very good at making evil, sly and wicked faces yet. i also get that vibe that she's not evil enough to be baek harin lol but the story is just sooo good so i'm staying for it
you would love the webtoon jaeun! she's even more cranky there (if that's what makes you attracted to her). drama…
I'm not quite sure what you mean. this drama is an adaptation of the webtoon with the same name. All of the characters names are the same as in the webtoon
she probably has something on her father that's so big that her father couldn't say no to her. even he shuddered…
Yeah that could be the case and it wouldn't be surprising if she does that. I haven't finished the webtoon so idk about baek harin's background yet. but she said she went to the orphanage home that Jaeun was at, right? I thought she might be adopted. If she's not then she went there often to befriend Jaeun only to use her later like she does now 👀
I have read the webtoon up to chapter 18. So far, they keep most of the plot of the webtoon. There are things that they get rid off (?):
a) suji's only parent is supposed to be her mom but in the drama, she has a soldier dad. I wonder if they changed it to avoid feminist allegations or it makes more sense for soldier to be posted to another state/prefecture/area every few months. either way, it still doesn't make sense to me that her father did not once think of training suji or make her join martial arts
b) they changed the predatory and pedophile teacher into a teacher who's crazy about money and bankrupt morale. i'm glad they changed this
this is one of the few kdramas that got me so hooked that i binge watched all the available episodes in a day. it also makes me want to read the webtoon because i want to know what happens in the end.
for me, this drama is different than other dramas in the bullying genre. the main character is a mentally strong girl and actually keeps on trying to make things better for her and her friends (even if she hates to admit it).
i truly enjoy the female-centered plot and that they don't shy away to tell about the romantic relationship among certain characters. i guess it's why it's available on tving and not on tv channels lol
