1. The man in black who saved Dr. Han wasn't Kokdu, I guess. You can see his eyes are very different. Maybe they'll tell us in next eps. In my opinion, this alludes to destiny.
2. Perhaps the historical scenes we see are just a brief introduction to their past lives. There are many historical scenes that have not been revealed. 1. episode 1 is pretty good, it's not too fast and quite easy to understand
