I mean people don't actually say those things when a heterosexual series or movies are put out to the world that too by big production companies like NETFLIX the ones I'm talking about are Fifty shades of grey which has many seasons to it, 365days(which is under NETFLIX) and recently it got its sequel and it show cased the same kidnapping and falling in love thing nothing about the show is HEALTHY by any sense and i cant remember any kind of emotional attachment that the 2 characters might have shared in in both 1st and 2nd part of the movie but indeed people have been obsessed with it. These are just two movies that i have taken into consideration there are more. So the question is why LGBTQ representation with same mafia story is said to be wrong??? There are problematic scenes but we have seen that they have talked and come out to conclusion like in ep6 kinn was apologetic and anted best for porche and so he was ready to let him go irrespective of his strong feelings.(The series has been humanized in many levels if we compare it to the novel.)
It is problematic and violent at some levels that is what makes it 18+ , because at that age people have conscious of differentiating between right and wrong. I am happy that you were able to understand and feel the wrong in the series (some parts i.e SA which has no excuse ), But that is what makes it a different genre ,It is storyline with mafia cute cant expect then to be CUTE, LITTLE , NO SEXUAL DESIRE PEOPLE , cause if that would be the case then it will no be a mafia representation.
