Do you know what makes this series so special? It’s the fact that Soul Mate might be the first and only project Taecyeon ever steps in this genre. I deeply respect him for having the courage to take this role. To work on a project like this and then go on to marry the woman he loves... to me, that represents a level of professional grace and tolerance rarely seen in this industry. I am moved by his desire to show that love, in any form, shares the same heartbeat as the love we all know. It’s a reminder of what it means to be human in a world drowned in noise.
As for Hayato Isomura, i’ve always known he is a phenomenal actor. I adore him so much that even the most beautiful words feel inadequate to express my admiration. He carries one of the cleanest reputations in Japan, with an attitude that everyone respects. I never imagined him taking a role like this alongside Taecyeon. After watching the trailer... i think i’m losing my mind. His eyes always speak volumes (just look at that melancholic glimmer in his gaze). I don’t even feel ready for this series to come. I’ll probably spend the whole day crying and carry the memory of it for the rest of my life.

i bet it's Ryu the one who's gay since day one and Johan is straight yet slowly find peace around Ryu and start to "love" him etc. etc. but then he's in denial phase since he slowly find out whatever side about Ryu or his family. so, it's gonna be them escaping reality. c'mon, it's not queerbaiting.. it's the reality we're living. it's someone story in places we can barely see.

can someone tell me without spoiler.. how's the second couple (hayeong-taeseok)'s story flow? tbh i accidentally watched a short video about them and it was interesting.. i wonder if they got many scenes or not cuz i'm rooting for them than the 1st couple.
i appreciate the dedication they gave. this is beautiful but just okay enough. choo young woo's acting isn't that great for this kind of genre with school-setting (for me), although the rain scene was a hit hard. i cried but it's feels like i must cry to validating that i watch a melodrama, not because i truly touched by the story's flow. but, yeah, thanks for the hard work!
don't know what to say about this drama. i agree it's so realistic here, but it's not that memorable for me. the acting, chemistry, all was fire though.. i wonder why i don't really really feel anything to the fullest. but, yeah, mad respect for this drama!^^ last sentence: where's Gyu Ho?💔
the #1 one is very accurate! nowadays, there are too many young actors with excellent acting skills and they're crazy talented.. i swear. not just act as typical silly highschool teenager or the bullies, but they have diversity roles and strong appearance. the korean film industry's future is bright lol.
