Show so goated even the snake deserves an Oscar for its acting. Like Chai Jidan I bow down to you for finding the perfect cast, from CC wei wei to a damn snake. I love you for that. What a masterpiece of a show you have made.
It's been an eternity since we got a BL series with an actual plot, superb acting, and an awesome storyline. Revenged love did the impossible. I am in love. How will I survive once it ends HOWWWWW. CC and Wei Wei have my heart.
I am sorry, but the second couple's kiss was so bad, it looked like they didn't want to kiss at all. Hope their future scenes will be better coz this is the first time I am equally loving both the main and secondary couple of a series.
"stiff and terrible acting continuously from thai bls " very strange, i have never seen any Thai BLs,…
After loving a few, watching many, and dropping most of the Thai BLs out there, I can confidently say that Thai BLs are nowhere near the quality of most Chinese, Japanese, or Korean BLs. One of the biggest problems is their obsession with quantity over quality. In their race to churn out as many BLs as possible, the Thai industry has sacrificed the very elements that make a series worth watching—good writing, compelling storytelling, solid acting, and thoughtful direction.
Another major issue is the overuse of fixed couples or “CP culture.” While it might seem like good marketing to repeatedly cast the same pair of actors together, it ends up limiting both their acting range and the variety of stories being told. It creates a stagnant, predictable dynamic where the chemistry feels forced and recycled. Instead of exploring fresh combinations and new narratives, we keep getting the same faces in similar roles, which becomes boring fast. This CP system prioritizes fandom sales and ship culture over artistic growth and genuine chemistry.
Far too many Thai BLs rely on recycled tropes, poorly developed characters, and fanservice that lacks emotional payoff. While the genre has exploded in popularity, the quality hasn’t kept up. Meanwhile, countries like China, Japan, and Korea are putting real effort into creating BLs with depth, innovation, and cinematic quality—raising the bar, while Thailand seems stuck in a loop of mediocrity masked as mass production.
Holy grail of BL series. Must comment again and again on the acting and chemistry of both the leads Oh my god, after watching the stiff and terrible acting continuously from thai bls this is such a relief. gonna rewatch this at least a million times.
