I really loved the first episode!

I'm currently in a dilemma, I don't know if I follow this drama or if I drop. I prefer slow burn stories and couples, so that's not the problem here, it's just that I don't feel chemistry with the main couple or that the story is heading somewhere interesting. The mystery itself is just ok, nothing that makes me really curious and the rest is more of what I'm tired of seeing in Sageuks, but without the charm that differentiates those that are remarkable. Another thing that discourages me, the gender bender plot... I understand that FL needs to hide, but there were so many other ways to do it without this being the solution. This plot is beyond ridiculous, because anyone looking at it would know that it is a woman and it has been used so many times that it has lost its charm. I also think ML is such a charmless character, I'm mainly here for Hyunsik and I think he's doing what he can with the text he's been given, but usually these moody characters have something that sets them apart and makes them attractive, but this one doesn't that's the case, he's such a bland character that I get bored watching him and he's played by a good actor who's really handsome. Anyway, I feel sorry for dropping it because I waited a long time, but at the same time, nothing has attracted me and I wonder if I should spend my time with something that makes me happier...
