as much as I love Uhm Jung-hwa, just watch The World of the Married again / instead.

he's the go-to actor to play the 'rich bad guy pays a hitman to kill/hurt the lead' you can predict that in any drama that he is in for longer than three episodes.

Not stellar but not dropping because I have my hopes up for the leads. It's not everyday you'd see a near middle-aged couple, one of whom a politician, the other a small business owner, portrayed as genuinely good-natured people who just got entangled with the wrong people and difficult issues. The main actors have good chemistry and I like how their relationship is depicted. I'm not sure if the problem is the pacing per se, but it does have a lot of long pauses that only lead up to some lukewarm intrigue by the end of each episode. After hearing about 5 named characters trying to or successfully taking their lives in a span of 7 eps, it gets a little old and predictable. Acting wise, it's a bit uneven, though Kim Mu-yeol stands out. It's refreshing to see him in a role so different from the naive judge in Juvenile Justice. His character here is morally grey and he plays his role really well. I wish I could say the same for the antagonists. Their performances (and dialogue) are skippable after the first two or three outbursts. Assemblyman Kang (lol his scenes with Assemblywoman Woo always end the same), his rich sister-in-law, and Seung-hee could have been cast a bit better. Again, sticking around because the protagonists are not the typically cutthroat characters one would find in this genre.

The Queen literally moves in every direction. I'm glad I'm not the only one enjoying this drama. Kim Hye Soo is just killing it!!! I agree the king is a bit weak but I like that he seems to really care about the Queen and their sons even though his hands are tied. Court Lady Shin has been amazing I was so worried they would torture her more, though the Queen wouldn't let that happen to her medicine buddy.

Whatever you think of the ending, I think we can all agree that Park Eun-bin deserves the Best Actress award at the very least if not the Grand Prize at Baeksang.

You just know Lee Kyung Young will play the bad guy, maybe the rival candidate

OK wtf is happening to this drama?! They seem so desperate to set up for a season 2 that they're throwing in new storylines stupidly late in the series (*cough* Vagabond *cough*). And the cases are progressively uninteresting as if they switched writers after the kiss in the hallway. pfft.

I know it's unlikely but I hope they bring back Attorney Ryu even for a bit part in the finale. I loved seeing Lee Bong-ryun this week

One of my absolute favorite actors because of his range but for some reason the dramas he stars in don't have the writing to match his potential. I hope maybe he can do something thrilling and action packed like "The K2" or maybe light slice-of-life like "Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha" and steer clear of sci-fi and medical dramas for now to avoid being typecast.

I'd watch season 3 if only to see Hwang Shi Mok finally eat something he ordered.

OK while I loved waiting for Vagabond every weekend, I hated how they felt the need to stretch it out and bait the audience to demand a second season. Looking back, the leads basically spend the first 10 episodes running and hiding then going to Morocco and back to Seoul, then the rest of the show is just info bombing to have more material for season 2. Great cinematography especially in the Morocco episodes, but Lee Seung Gi and Suzy deserve better.

When Shin Deuk Ye puts on huge glasses, a wig, gets on a wheelchair and calls herself Heather Shin and only her 2 accomplices recognize her.... yup it's that kind of drama.

She played 6 characters in Hotel Del Luna and each one was so different. Awesome voice too from her stint on Hot Singers. Someone give her a lead role already!!
