I can understand that people have preferences, and if they prefer other drama over this, it's okay and there's nothing wrong with that. Go watch it and have fun and discuss on their own page how much they enjoy that drama.
But why they have to comment on here everyday how much they hate this? That's what I don't understand.

It's hard to say anything about carrying the show when the ML doesn't really have much character rather than falling hard for the FL (not that I'm complaining) whereas the FL has a goal in her life, knows what she wants to do, and values herself.
Currently, the FL is the one who has more dynamic in her life.
But we'll see how it goes since it's only Ep4 and there's still much character development to go on for both the ML & FL.

Heartbeat is really fun to watch too but it's a different genre. I think some people compare because they are both ongoing and both MLs are from the same idol group.
But still both KTL and Heartbeat is enjoyable if you need fun and lighthearted drama.

Nobody said this is a great drama or the most loved drama in the world. Most people just enjoy watching this because it's lighthearted.
McDonald's is not the best food, but most people still enjoy eating it.

It's more than possible. Because most romcom or romance genre has at least one breakup. It's a nom 😢

I wonder why this cliche and silly romcom keeps getting on Netflix Top 10 worldwide since it started airing.

When the majority of this comment section is always full of comments like I don't like the FL, ML, drama is too cliche or boring, xxx drama is better than this, this drama doesn't deserve high ratings, I dropped it on epxx.
Do you guys realize that you guys are the contributors for this drama to get more hype than expected 😅 no matter how much you hate it? If you don't like it, don't watch it. Don't try to ruin other people's experience.

I miss the time when the comment section is mostly about the drama discussions rather than hate comments.

That's why sometimes I don't wanna come in here while I'm watching a drama that I really enjoy. If we look at the ratings in Korea and on Netflix Top 10 list, the majority of people seem to enjoy this drama.
I hope those people you've mentioned are just some minority. If they don't like it, don't watch it. That's it. Why try to ruin other people's experience?

Edit: and I don't mind the rational criticism because I can see this drama is not perfect. But most of the comments I've been seeing are just plain hate comments.

I read in an interview that he wanted to take lighter roles because he was emotionally tired in The Red Sleeve. Actors are also humans so maybe he just needed an emotional break. I kinda agree that his character has been acting like a child. But he told his father in ep1 that he has no interest in the company. I hope he will have character development in later episodes since he seems to care about the employees due to what Sarang said.

Same! I'm not even super into Rom-Coms but I'm enjoying this drama. I mean aren't dramas supposed to be enjoyable and fun? I just can't understand why some people putting hate comments and too much efforts on here for something they don't even like.

After ep 3, one thing I've realized is that Gu Won is such a loser 🤣🤣🤣 and a cute puppy who craves for love (Sarang, pun intended). Bro, you just said she's not your style just a few days ago & you fell in love already??? I mean I can't blame him since Sarang is so lovable. But I guess it will still take some time for Sarang to reciprocate his feelings.

you should try out Rain or Shine on Netflix too. People will say The Red Sleeve is his best drama but this is my favorite drama of his. It's a healing drama.
As for the FL, The King In Love is a good one. That's a historical drama. Her movies are fun too.

Gu Won's Mom disappearance? I'm curious how it will unfold. I mean there might be some reason why he couldn't find her in the system although she used to be an employee at the hotel? But I'm more into the rom and com part for now 😁

Totally agree. My watchlist this year has been filled with thrillers and mysteries. I love mystery don't get me wrong. But we need drama like this that can make us laugh without much thinking from time to time.

I love it 😍😍😍 can't wait to see our bickering couple more on this weekend.
