dont get me wrong. but whts the point of doing stuff behind when he doesnt know any of it. its opintless. u said ud protect him. fl is a strong character. if u cant protect him openly infront of ur family then dont make false promises. he ran away when he knew about her identity. after suffering from the family. he finaly grew some balls to divorse her. but once he knew shes potentially dieing . he halts it as after her death he can truly walk away frm tht family. with this family. even a divorse proceeding will be a hastle.

as much as i empathise with her. she is in the position of power who made him the promises. she should do/have done more thn she did.
