Finally he went to see his mother and supposedly will spend more time with her
I was scared he wouldn't get such chance
I guess CC didn't try to reach out so he get to spend more time with her.

I don't get why wei keep going to the siblings it makes no sense to me he should be distancing himself even if he have doubts he should be confronting not trying to befriend the brother.
Same with Yue yeu he should have refused to work with her not giving her free gifts
The pace is a bit slow for what supposed to happen next especially the jail arc
2nd couple deserved a more screen time too

Personally i'd hate not knowing wasting precious moments he will end up with regrets for not doing more for his mother he might even seee it as neglecting her since he failed to notice her condition unlike the stranger she recently met

Many things could have been done better especially plot wise

Wang Shuo is a great addition, he made things more interesting and he is too pretty I can't dislike him😅

Hiding the mother condition is unforgivable especially if it's critical .paying for her treatment and taking care of her instead of her own son
Who can afford it can't redeem it while he is wasting the precious time he should be spending with his mother.
whatever reason that made them break up can't be compared to this
It's bothering me a lot how CC act hiding such truth even if the mother asked him to

He is unexperienced got overwhelmed confused and didn't know how to communicate well his feelings
Compared to other guys he look the most "normal" That's why people judge him harshly
To be fair he made mistakes but the girls kept pressering him even when he clearly showed no interest then when trying to be nice he end up giving them hope
