I just finished the drama and it was a solid 9/10 for me that i will rate 10/10 for the sole reason it hooked me from the start. I finished all the episodes in 3 days and it's been a long time since I did that.
Love the cinematography, color grading and visuals of the drama. Costumes were stunning in the first half of the drama, even later they were good but not that stunning.
THE TENSION AND CHEMISTRY between the main leads was explosive. Like the tension in the early episode paired with the tension of their lies and angst made it such a gripping drama.
And i don't know if people notice it or not but they gave even the most horrible villains a backstory that might even justify their actions. Like several times when I hated a villian and wanted them gone, they showed their backstory and i started to feel bad for them or even think of why they might have done it. It was really appreciable by the way they did this. LOVED IT. TOTALLY RECOMMENDED.
Guys let me tell you something, the ML is a saint!! An actual good person, i swear if it would have been me in his place, going through all that trauma, I would have totally told every one of them to f*ck off and use the neatherbeast to kill them all. He has gone through sooo much but still is ready to sacrifice himself for those people. I could never. My poor bby he is such a tragic figure whose life is full of betrayal, torture, pain, suffering and trauma.
A quick question, I heard this is a more male centric drama than a romance centric one!? Is this right? Plus it would be really grateful if any of the novel readers could tell the basic plot of the series the description is confusing
HOLY SHIT THE TENSION BETWEEN THEM. LIKE FROM EP 1 THE TENSION.
Did I say that clearly THE TENSION!!! Is insane. I literally binged watched 15 ep since the evening and it's almost 4 in the morning and i can't stop. This is insane. The chemistry is fire. I had been on a break since shadow love and when destiny brings the demon finished airing but this got me hooked. I can't with them. I am obsessed. And tbh the main thing that makes both character so likable is that they are both obsessed with each other even without realising. I can't wait to watch more
The worst part is, if he would have told her about his son, she would have accepted him from the start. Without question and a full heart. But he didn't, he decided to play. And let's say, fine he didn't tell her and his the secrets because he knew she also was hiding things. But once she came to know if he would have talked to her nicely and told her he loved her she would HAVE been okay with it. She would have accepted.
But he broke her by saying he would never love a person like her. That was her last straw. She could accept anything but she won't compromise on love ever again. A worst part is she loved him. And maybe deep down maybe he did too. But he is too late now. And his words and actions fucked up everything.
Haoming is lowkey a very scary and cunning dude. Cuz like he was playing from the start without anyone knowing. It's like he is playing the chess game and setting his pieces accordingly but one thing is- he underestimated his QUEEN!!!
To the people who are saying the ML is a red flag plz don't forget so is she. Both the ML and FL are red flags. They have inner motives. Just because we have seen the fl side of story (the childhood, her love for him, hey struggles) doesn't mean what she did should be justified. We are yet to fully see the ML point of view. His pov about his whole marriage with her. I feel he cares for her and loves her but he doesn't let himself thing about that and focus on his gain through the arrangement. For him it's like a transaction but he underestimated his feelings in the process.
I feel the seperation will help them start new. On a clean board. With all facts laid bare and no secrets. That's when the team romance will start.
This drama stands high in the list of my favourite dramas this year- A dream within a dream The prisoner of beauty Legend of the female general (no judging)
Tbh no comparisons or anything, but based on the female general aspect and chengli as ml. I enjoyed shadow love more than LOTFG. But in the end of the day they both were amazing
I still haven't watched the last 6 episodes and I want to ask how was the romance from FL's side in those episodes?…
She isn't really letting him go. See at first she was still the same for him when she should have hated him. She cared for him. But at one point she leaves, after her father's death. That's not cuz she wants to buy the situation demanded. She couldn't live there she had to go back to settle things. I guess she even expected and kenw that he will come for her. That he will be back to her as his jinan. So she left prince annan and knew her jinan would come or she would die waiting
Prince annan looks extra sexy. I don't know if it's those groves, or those robes, or that hair style or just his attitude and aura. But EP 30 to 38 were for him. Like man i cant- if I would have been her I would have already had his babies😂

He actually deserves so much better.

And why and for how long they seperate?
Second is how dare you.
Thirdly fated hearts.
And no offence but wtf was speed and love!?? THATS LIKE INSANE PLUS IT MADE ME THING OF MY FAULT/CULPA MIA
I try not to think of THAT TRAUMA.
Now I can watch their trailer and see if any of them catch my attention
I just can't move on. Wish I could watch it again for the first time
