See honestly books are always better than drama or movie cuz they have the details and inner thought which we dont get in the drama but here i think i drama was wayyy better than the book.
There is a difference between a dark angsty novel and just plain abuse and torture. The novel wasn't a dark novel with morally grey main character it actually glorified abuse, toxicity and torture. I am no moral police and my taste in the drama and books [i am a reader as well] are really Questionable but TTEOTM novel is just next level in thay sense.
