SUNSHINE and GRUMPHY??? [BOUND TO FALL IN LOVE]
This was one of the most hyped series of 2022 for sure. I mean literally everyone was waiting for this to air. Firstly cuz i think its the first proper Thai GL we have ever gotten and secondly cuz even with so much BL popularity nowadays we sadly don't have many GL to look into. I mean i could literally count the number of GL series available online worldwide which is actually sad.I was trying to manage my expectations because the hype for this has been so strong and I didn't want to be disappointed, but holy hell this delivered! Even with the first episode mostly being used to introduce the characters/plot, it was so well done!!!! Even the clichés felt fresh, because WOMEN!!!!!
I can't believe we have a office romance with the cold CEO trope and I am so thankful they didn't go the school route. Office romance remains superior and adding SUNSHINE and GRUMPHY to the mix??? THATS THE RECIPE FOR A MASTERPIECE.
I love our leads & also kirk as well. Sam is a softie with a tough exterior & Mon has a good heart. Typical, but still the best office romance.
Even though Sam is meant to be an ice princess, the actress is doing so well in putting a tinge of sadness behind her persona. The uncomfortable tension that Sam brought to the workplace whenever she entered the room. Her whole vibes scream BOSS BITCH, and i love it.
Then there's Mon who is just a sweetheart, a ray of sunshine on the mission to melt the ice princess. HER ICE PRINCESS.
AND CAN WE HAVE 2 MINUTE SILENCE FOR THOSE OUTFITS???? CUZ holy shit, they were sexy as hell and suit there personality so well. I mean beauty with brain and add money to the mix?? I CAN'T.
Anyway I think this will be a revolutionary GL and can be the start of more GL series to come in the future.
THOUGH PLZZZZZ not that house again I swear, LOL.
They keep recycling the same sets in Thai BLs, didn't expect to see it in a GL as well pfft. I'm pretty sure every BL watcher knows that house by now. That place has become a character itself! From Don't say no and Cutie Pie to The Eclipse and then also Unforgotten Night too!>>>
IT Delivered!!! highly recommended and more after seeing the almost nil GL content!!

Betrayal, Revenge and a Driven ML with a punch of time hocus-pocus))
Firstly I wanna say how excited I was for this to release. Song Joong Ki is one of the most talented korean actors. He has given the world absolute germs like DOTS and VINCENZO. So naturally I had high expectations for this one as well. AND i can proudly say he did not disappoint.I LOVE THE GRANDFATHER. Lee Sung Min portrayed his character as the head of the family with insulting words. His actions and silence conveyed more than his words. His eyes and facial expressions, raised the standard. His character is not shitty like i expected and the dynamic between him and Doojon is the most interesting part of the story. Like those two on the screen at the same time were just explosive. I didn't know song joong ki can have such chemistry with a man more than twice his age.
SONG JOONG KI once again showed why he is one of the highest paid actors in Korea. He was amazing like always. I cant imagine he is 37, he looked NOT more than a day above 20 here. He literally went from playing the role of a 45 years old quite, well behaved working man in suit and glasses with well kept hair who is just sad and depressed, living only for his family serving those rich asses TO a free, extra smart, scheming 20 years old in T shirts' and over coats with wild hair, who is just cheeky and happy.
The child actor in EPISODE 2 did such a crazy job. He slayed the role, Like his eyes spoke volumes and the way he portrayed the emotions and character was just admirable.
The storyline and plot seems batshit crazy. And i feel its solely focused on the REVENGE part of the drama and the ROMANCE seem to be a side aspect [Which i like the most, cuz most time the romance part destroys the revenge aspect of the dramas].
TO BE HONEST, I didn't give two shit about the romance. To me, it was BLAND, UNNESSARY AND FRUSTRATING!!
The female lead was the blandest FL i have seen [i am not even exaggerating]. I swear i rather skip her scene. She was a hypocrite with no personality or substance. It felt like she just existed.
And I one hundred percent shipped dojun and his sister in law [ik, ik, ik she was toxic and etc etc but she atleast had a PERSONALITY and MOTIVE unlike *cough* the FL]. Basically i love a good evil female.
The OST, color grading and CINEMATOGRAPHY is really good. Scenes are shot really well specially some of the action one's
The time line seem to be a little confusing at times with speculations of whether he was reborn or simply was simply taken back in time.
THE ENDING, to be honest i was kinda DISSAPOINTED WITH IT. I don't know what the hell happened in those last 2 ep but AHHH!!!! I wanted to scream in frustration. Still overlooking it i will definitely recommend this drama!!
OVERALL its a must watch even if you rather bawl your eyes off than seeing that romance part or the ending in which they did us BAD!!!

GRUMPHY AND SUNSHINE??? [BOUND TO FALL IN LOVE]
A CLASSIC ROMANTIC COMEDY.Do you all remember the old kdrama??? The 2016 kdrama era??? When kdrama use to be fluffy without unnecessary murder mystery, bully and revenge trope.
This is THAT kind of drama. The Nostalgia i felt watching this.
It will make you laugh till you have tears in your eyes with its humour. It will make your blush like a teenager with its romance. It will make you wanna hide with the second hand embarrassment. It will make you want to crave more.
The drama is amazing. Its definitely is the romcom of 2023 just like business proposal was of 2022.
Light, fluffy and ridiculous. The romance is swoon worthy. The humour is amazing. The plot may be a little old fashionable and cringy but don't we all crave it once in a while!?
And the way he look at her. Cares for her. Looks after her. IS CHEFS KISS.
There may be instant care and attraction but their love grows slowly. Its not instant. It grows from a bud to a flower that blooms. Yes, it can BE EXTRA sometimes but who doesn't like a CEO spending all his love, attention and money on a girl like a love sick puppy??? LIKE who doesn't like that!?
ACTORS/CHEMISTRY
The cast is perfect. Not just that mainleads but even every single side character. And the chemistry between the main leads is absolutely EXPLOSIVE.
Like you can feel the connection and chemistry between them from episode 1. The way they look at each other, ahhhhh!!
Overall, JUST WATCH IT. People are over analysis a drama they shouldn't. Even with the massive post hype i will say it lives upto the expectations.
