More like a bromance. I normally don’t like bromances, but I gotta say, this one is pretty good! This and The Untamed are so far my fave bromances. Ok, I was on ep 6 when I found out he had A.L.S. and of COURSE I had to skip to the last episode to see if dude dies or something. I’m wondering if the outcome to all of this (even if there is a season 2) will be him just dying and my heart just being ripped apart? I mean, what kind of treatment could he get that the writers put in there that would make the next season less foreboding and miserable to think about?
Ellis Gage’s character is the biggest pain in the ass I have ever seen in a BL. Maybe it’s how he talks to Andre in a belittling tone/manner or just his face and facial expressions… I dunno. But he rubs me the wrong way. I’m on episode 6 and I’m pushing myself to finish this. Man, it’s tough!

We can’t forget the lovely Love In The Air (rewatch over and over), KinnPorsche, The Untamed (the best of the best), We Best Love S1 & S2 (couple of my personal faves - love to rewatch them as well ❤️), A Tale of a Thousand Stars, Love Mechanics (another I rewatch), Semantic Error (you guessed, another I rewatch lol), and Not Me (rewatch LOL and, ya know OffGun and Gun is a phenomenal actor). Ya, the Eighth Sense was incredible ❤️ man, their reunion had me crying ❤️❤️😭😭 and the bedroom scenes where they were laying together and teasing and biting each other 🥹 so intimate and cute. Stuff real couples would do.

Then you should watch Dangerous Drugs of Sex, The Novelist and Pornographer. Oh and Mood Indigo. All great series/movies. DEFINITELY over 21 👍🏻 I think Japanese and the Philippines are the most risqué with the content that’s put out with showing body parts and content.

The acting wasn’t too bad, I didn’t think. Maybe some of the side characters but the leads did pretty good. Sure, a lot of the situations were unrealistic but that’s the joy of it 😭🤣 I think the problem is we (society) as a whole is starting to romanticize sexual violence altogether. Rape scenarios, bdsm, cosplay, etc… pushing the limits because people are getting bored. Overstimulated too quickly. Having cellphones isn’t helping. Looking at our phones all day. I’m off track. I think if all that stuff didn’t happen with Build and the author, there would have been a season 2. Maybe those pot holes would have been filled in. So many more questions would have been answered. But with Build and Jeff not there, seems unlikely 🤷🏻♀️

I wanted a proper season 2 to this (not a remake that we know is only going to be a “bromance “) and a season 3 to Like Love! Ya, I don’t blame you. There are some very toxic situations in the series (which is why I think a lot of people like it. More adult actors, adult scenarios, no high school BS… and Tong is THE BEST. His character is everything!) The series on a whole is just amazing. I’m truly not a fan of the female author. I think she has some severe issues and should be avoided at ALL costs, but she knows how to write a story. Even if you were to skip that stuff, the rest is just great. 👍🏻👍🏻
