The drama! I laughed a lot, I cried at the end, I cringed so hard… the emotional roller coaster! For being low budget, it was pretty good. It wasn’t boring at all. I’ll be watching it again just because it was so damn entertaining!
I’m having a hard time getting through episode one. It’s super boring. And that creepy smile on Kit’s face. The whole time is just super annoying. So far the only reason why I wanna watch is for the side couples. Does it get any better?
I wish this were longer. The acting was decent. The storyline would have been incredible if it were longer and more developed. The love scene at the end was a little bit weird. They were kissing, but not really. There was definitely chemistry there. I think if there was a workshop there, maybe some practice would’ve helped. It would’ve been interesting to see if anything was to come about with the grandpa and the family and their reaction to everything that went down. I did really like how it ended showing exactly who was the top and who is the bottom lol. Overall, for this being a super short series, they did a really great job. If there’s another season, which I’m sure there will not be, but if in case there is, I will definitely be watching it.
I seriously love this series! I’m not for series that the couples get together right away and blah blah blah, but this series was so action packed and filled with things that they had to deal with that I didn’t even care. My only issues were these: I think it was very stupid how they had keen come in and basically run the whole gym out of nowhere. Uncle didn’t even really say anything except for thank you and great job. It was so weird. And then whenever there were some serious issues, everybody was dragging their feet to try and get them resolved. Example: they needed the password. Normal people would be running back to their possessions of their parents if they had any and searching vigilant through their stuff. Instead, they just sat there and hugged and talked about all sorts of stupid stuff. I love the whole twist and turn with MP and daddy. The guy who played Yut did a fantastic job in his roll. Can’t imagine anyone else doing it. The whole cast did a pretty good job. I think if there were any real issues, it was pretty much the writing aspect of it not the cast or actors themselves. But I’m really surprised that this series wasn’t promoted more. It’s really good. I give it a solid 10. Ps, Gunner looks like if Pavel and Nani had a baby, he would be it 👍🏻
This was a really cute series. The leads were both adorable. The other actors/characters were great, too. I wasn’t too impressed by the kiss scenes. They felt very forced. Very awkward. The boys should have practiced beforehand. Workshop or something. The episodes were super short so I felt like there were definite pockets or gaps where you weren’t sure WTH was happening. Other than that, it was definitely cute and I recommend this to anyone ❤️
I hope they don’t ban the rest of this series. I’m purposely holding off on watching this so I can binge it.…
Just to clarify — it’s not some brand-new signed law (my apologies for the misunderstanding), but there is a new policy update that says if a show is filmed in mainland China, it has to complete local filing and review even if it’s only released overseas. So that loophole for BL shows to skip Chinese censors and just air internationally is basically getting closed if they enforce it strictly. Also, Revenged Love’s Weibo super topic just got banned — so it’s not exactly business as usual. I wasn’t pulling that out of nowhere. 😅 Hopefully it doesn’t stop the rest of the episodes, but this stuff does affect how these series survive. Anyway, fingers crossed it makes it to the finale.
I hope they don’t ban the rest of this series. I’m purposely holding off on watching this so I can binge it. But now that China signed this new law that even if it was filmed there, but broadcasted in a different country, it still cannot be released internationally, I really hope that this doesn’t affect the rest of this series and others that are still to come. 😬
The story itself was good. The acting was mediocre at best. I think P’s acting was the best. So was the manager’s. Maybe it was the character’s themselves. PJ’s character was a bit childish for me. A bit naive. Plai and his love scene felt off. Like it was forced? And to have them say I love you so quick was a bit weird. Not unheard of but weird. It was sad that again, P and Pan didn’t end up together at the end but it sounds like there will be another season. It also kind of shows the dynamics of the BL world with dating. Very sad how people ship these imaginary couples and can make or break careers if they decide to step outside of those boundaries. Another thing I said in another comment was in episode 2 when they all left the manager to go to the bathroom and left the manager at the table by himself for ages. Talking walks and tea classes. Who does that? LOL. And of course we can’t forget about P and Pan’s love scenes. Omgoodness they weren’t just hot they were lava hot. The BL world will have a LOT of catching up to do after this series! My Stubborn and this are top tier for me! It was overall a decent series. I’ll be honest, I’ll probably just be watching the love scenes again because damn LOL. The rest was just bleh. The story was good but I don’t need to rehash it like the others. It wasn’t exciting. Not really fun. Definitely worth watching though 👍🏻
Ok just got done with ep. 2. First off, who leaves their friend to go to the bathroom then go for walks and explores shops and takes tea classes? 🤣🤣🤣☠️☠️☠️ hilarious! And that ending?? (No pun intended LOL) the world of BL is moving up. First with my stubborn we get those hot French kisses and really hot bedroom scenes. And I gotta say the first season of this was really hot too. Man, I can’t wait to see what else is coming up. I hope these other companies really step up their game.
Well, it was a ride. Here are my critics. I don’t like how controlling Sorn was. Didn’t want to let Jun out of his sight or go out without him. Gas lit him saying stuff like, “you can’t be with this person because you aren’t good in bed yet…” kind of stuff. And I think Jun acting like a rape victim the whole time kind of got old, too. I understand how he got fed up with Sorn but that look on his face when he would get kissed looked like he would rather chew needles. I think only once or twice he pursued Sorn. Aside from that, I liked this a lot. The bedroom scenes were SOOOOO hot. I think we all wished we were Jun at one point or another haha. I like the jealousy parts. I wish the last episode had a longer or better love scene but I was still happy with it. They don’t hold back on their kisses. We need to thank that company for putting that out there lol. My last critic would be that one guy who was dating that Vee girl. I kind of wish he would have ended up with that guy he was making out with in the stairwell. Other than that, I will definitely be watching this again. ❤️
Real talk… Why couldn’t the main leads be Ki Hyun Woo and Choi Jae Hyeok? Holy crap you have two of THE HOTTEST Korean BL actors in the same series and they could be the leads 🤦🏻♀️ the other lead dude just isn’t vibing with me. Choi Jae Hyeok was awesome, though. Good acting, great facial expressions, etc… Hyeok #2 (that’s how I’ll differentiate them LOL) has an adorable smile and wasn’t bad at all, but together? Meh. I think even the friend who was obsessed with Hyeok #2 would probably had better chemistry lol. If you are reading this, Oak Company Studio or whoever, please cast my two hotties together ❤️❤️
I asked ChatGPT if this was going to happen and this is what it said…. It seems that Hot Bamee and Yummy Gyogung is not currently in production, and unfortunately, there's been no recent updates on its adaptation status.
Reddit discussions indicate no progress for over a year. Fans speculate it’s on indefinite hold or canceled. Did anyone else cry at the end? I know other dude wasn’t real but he felt like a ghost on the outside looking in. Like when Chan Kyu acknowledged the main guy was his man and the other one disappeared in that park, it was like his ghost was stuck there. Obviously, that was not the story at all but in a way it was. And all I have to say is THAT is how kissing is supposed to be done!! 🔥
Can we all talk about how precious episode 2 was where Chen Li was reading to Nie Xiao Zhi? And how he kept looking up at him with such love in his eyes and Chen Li had such a soft voice. *sigh* I love this whole series. It’s so good for being so short.
This was such a good super short series. I’m so disappointed that it was only for very short episodes. The two leads had such incredible and I mean incredible chemistry. I think if they ever did more series in the future together, they would just nail it. And these stupid restrictions.,. they need to go to another country to do some work. You know if they were to have real love scenes that they would be real bangers (No pun intended lol). I just hate it when you come across these really cool series that are so damn short. I gave it a nine I won’t watch it again, but if anyone notices a special episode or anything like that with these two guys, please reply to this. 🙏🏼
