Wow! All I said was “I wish it were still BibleBuild” and I get crucified for stating my opinion? Calling me a rapist supporter? No, I’m not a fan of Build. Never was. If anyone is in “delulu” land it’s you both. That’s very mature of you guys. Shame on you.
The whole plot and scenes were so heartwarming that I forgot to see if Sea can act, all I know is I found him…
There is no disputing the story line - it was definitely heartwarming in that aspect - I’m talking about how he portrayed his character. I felt like it wasn’t until the last couple episodes did you really see him come out of his shell more and show what he had hidden. I’m sure a lot of what he was showing was inexperience and shyness that just started to emerge towards the end of the series, but I’m saying overall. Did any of the actors do a terrible job? No, not at all. Especially Moo. That guy portrayed his character so naturally. And so did Louis and Book. And we’ve seen them in a bunch of different series with different characters/personalities. They still jumped right in and was able to execute their rolls perfectly. As I said, this is my opinion. We both aren’t wrong. It’s just how we perceived it.
They are young...And it was their first or second kiss..it should have that inexperience and embarrassment..And…
Omgoodness relax LOL. This is just my opinion. You’d think I was trying to drive over your child. Being young has nothing to do with being a good or bad actor. Dude just needs more acting classes. And yes, there are a lot of people like Kang’s character irl, but as for the ACTING part, it was crap. Sorry. You can tell in quite a few parts, something felt off. The delays of his reactions, how he responds. Those are scenes where plenty of feeling should have been infused but it wasn’t. That, dear, is not the character - it’s the actor. I know he will get better over time, but the coaches for the series should have guided them more. He would have done a lot better. And I’m sure the writers of the series have a lot to do with things, too, but I’m sticking with what I’m saying. It’s an OPINION only. NOT gospel truth. Let’s agree to disagree and move on. 🙄
This was a good overall series, but I felt like something was missing. I didn’t feel that spark that I normally feel with most BL’s. I don’t know if it was because I felt like the main leads didn’t have amazing chemistry, or the fact that the one main guy, I don’t remember his name, the one with the black hair, was so insecure and kind of selfish. He just kept focusing on himself the whole time. Yes, there were parts where he really was feeling special things for the other guy, But it kept going back to him feeling unworthy of being an actor. An actor alongside that other guy. I’m sorry, I don’t remember their names. It wasn’t until the last couple of episodes that things kind of started to pick up. But I felt like I really had to push myself to watch the beginning up until that point. As I said, somethings lacking. It was a little boring , and I know I won’t watch this again. I am curious about the sequel though. It sounds like they will have a sequel just from the last episode. We shall see. But overall, not a bad series. It’s binge worthy.
Ok. The acting could have been better. They could have had the dude who played Hope take that smile off his face once in a while. It looked so forced/fake. I felt like if this was a little bit longer it would’ve been developed a little bit more. Maybe given a backstory on why the kid was selling meatballs and where was his family. Or what happened to them. And then the debt collectors. Whatever happened with that? So there were some gaps that weren’t filled. They probably had a very small budget making this, and they did the best they could with what they had. Yes, there were a bunch of parts, where I kinda cringed a little, rolled my eyes, but it was OK for the most part. Again, I wish it was longer. Maybe they will make the guy that played Hope look kind of like his picture on this site. He’s a little cutie, but they made him look about 14 years old in this. 🙄 and then the other dude just looked like he’s been through the wringer. Can you everywhere and then the other dude just looked like he’s been through the wringer. Kind of worn out. I hope to see them develop more and more overtime as actors. They are enthusiasm is there.
