2Ls of this drama did fantastic job that there require to do. Zhao Jin Mai begin as a child actress, her acting skill is in between, but she did fantastic job in emotional scenes CAVE SCENE, her conversation with LC after she know the truth, Liu Xu Wei also did fantastic job in that scene, Zhang Ling He begin as an adult, his improvement is very noticeable, his RAIN scene was fantastic derivation, after a long time i have seen that emotional break down with word.
story of this drama is a complicated one non of the character is perfect individual. to be honest father killing son, wife killing husband and cheating many people sympathies with LC, he had his own problem, yes in a way we can say he is a good individual but not a good one for holding supreme power, i will not go details on political system. or dialogue that came from him, just there was a old saying in china 'Marriage is duty, Love is Pleasure', who do not understand duty, he do not deserve pleasure. non of character get marry as they wish, it is there life's dilemma, non of the character can escape there dilemma why LC will be different. at lest only he might gets the test of innocent love.
music, set and costumes design one of best i ever seen. many saying about Zhao Jin Mai costumes being ugly, i do not know that to say about that. but i can say one thing, it came to my attention that presently in most historical drama costumes are shed color, even colorful one had shed fragment.
the director, producer and script writer completely destroy the drama when you know SRQ will play the major role in 2nd half, then why you did not take a balance approach on this character from the beginning, you rather take a decision to give this character in 2nd half, script take path from him of no return, why you break your own script make him a tragic character, he is not a tragic character.
