Title Burning Ice
This is ridiculous. The show has actually potential at first, but once it hit Episode 10, it turned completely stupid and full of plot holes (and I call them plot holes because the writers never even addressed them). What’s funny is that this place apparently has zero CCTV, and the detectives only focus on one side of the investigation. They didn't even bother checking alibis! If they had just interviewed other people close to the victim instead of strictly focusing on the main suspect, they would have found solid evidence in the early episodes. The drama keeps talking about how "they can't arrest you without evidence" like, tf? As if you guys are even looking for evidence! They rely entirely on profiling mostly done by the MC and just wait around for the killer to leave clues behind instead of actively searching. On top of that, the girl wasn't even suspicious when her brother committed suicide after claiming he killed the "yellow guy." Sure, we could say he guessed or assumed his sister did it, but no sane person commits suicide over an assumption. Plus, he was literally planning to move back home with her, suddenly went missing, and then committed suicide the next day. Yeah, totally not suspicious at all and o would just sleep with Guo Yu because my brother commited suicide. Then you have the law firm boss and Guo Yu's roommate dying or going missing, yet the police still can't find a single clue. When the MC quits, these detectives can't make a single shred of progress on the case. The short time skip was fucking terrible too; it just made things more confusing and left a ton of unanswered questions. Overall, this show has one of the most unsatisfying endings ever. It felt like it was only slapped on just so the drama could call itself finished. This drama not worth to watch unless you like crime drama with lot of stupid investigation and plothole, substitle making it even worse.

Kdrama version is like much lighter and face slapping, too many unnecessary things and they keep it dragging.Japanese Version is much heavier and realistic than K Version, We have much realistic FL not those who have plot armor, they don't keep it dragging, better revenge i guess compare to kdrama version because in kdrama fl has more plot armor while FL in Jdrama is much realistic and focuses more on self worth and self growth.

Ok, here we go, don't kill me 🤣 but for me ML is "cheating" more emotionally and FL physically (obviously…
ML emotional cheating? are you serious just because he was with 2FL even though there's really nothing happen while FML also with the 2ML so in your logic FML also doing emotional cheating + physical cheating

Title Love for You
why did tuli meet cen ye in that one episode and they never addressed it again for the rest of the show? if they…
Because the drama have changed a lot from its source material(novel), especially when they changed the story and personality of characters that causes some effect in the story

I finally came back and finished this drama after dropping it a while ago. At first, I only wanted to watch it for the revenge arc, but the long college flashback made me lose interest. After reading the novel a few years later, I decided to give the show another shot and finish it.

Looking at the comments, I noticed what felt like a clear double standard. I've seen plenty of dramas where a flawed female lead repeatedly hurts the male lead, yet viewers are willing to understand or defend her because of her trauma or personal struggles. Li Xun has his own struggle too. Even when his actions are wrong, I think the same willingness to understand the character should apply, especially when some widely praised and sympathize female leads have done things that are arguably just as bad or worse.

The drama is almost like a fairy-tale version of the original book. The romance and characters are softer and easier to sympathize with, while the novel gives Li Xun a much darker background, a colder and more harsh personality, and far fewer moral. His obsession with revenge is also much more darker, his background is much more darker and he suffered a lot compare to a drama version.

Zhu Yun is also quite different in the novel. The drama presents her more as a kind good girl, whereas the novel makes it much clearer that there is a rebellious and more extreme side underneath her polite character. She literally describes Li Xun as her king and herself as his loyal subject. Her devotion and obsession to him goes extraordinarily far: she continues to stand beside him through prison, family opposition, revenge and the struggles that follow.

If you couldn't stand Li Xun in the drama, you probably won't like the novel version any more. But if you're interested in a darker character, a more complicated relationship, and a much harsher revenge story, the novel is definitely worth reading.

The drama is the softer, more romantic version. The novel is much more extreme but better for me.

Is There a love Triangle...?
It's not even a love triangle, lol. Just because someone has a crush on the ML or FL, it doesn't automatically make it a love triangle.

sadly that's still a cheating, as long as you're in a relationship unless its open relationship.
But I'm not talking about the drama, I only replied to his/her own synopsis of the drama.

I stand corrected, it's not equally divided between likers & dislikers, more like MDL hate vs Everywhere else…
but most people who like this drama are just lee min ho fans, if it has different male lead I don't think it will have that much hype.

definitely joy of life. both dramas are supposed to have the same script writer, i think, the humour in both dramas…
Btw I have a question, should I start reading the novel at the start? is there a lot important things that was left out in the drama adaptation?
