Lol this reminded me that last Friday when I was in class chatting along on Playboyy MDL thread with you guys, the girl sitting next to me (whom I refuse to call "friend") asked me what am I reading and writing about, I explained about MDL a bit, and she again asked what is the name of the series that I'm watching. Lol I can never say or am willing to explain what "Playboyy" is to a homophobic person so I said "I'll not disclose" (in my native language) in a joking way. She said "Oh what Korean thing are you even watching.?" in a mocking tone. I said "It's Thai".
P.S. I'll just give a quick disclosure that one of my pet peeve is people thinking every East/Southeast Asian content is Korean content. I have nothing against Korean content but in some people's POV those contents are cringe in our country and it's always thought of as in a negative way if you say you watch Korean content. Hell even I used to judge people for watching/consuming these contents before nose diving into the world of East/Southeast Asian contents/series myself.π I am not proud of what I used to think now that my POV changed...
So back to the story, I said "I watch Thai, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Taiwanese and recently Vietnamese series" Hearing this other person sitting next to me said "How do you understand what they are saying..!!??" π I said "Duh they have subtitles..!!" π Like you can imagine what type of people I deal with on a daily basis...π So yes people refusing to watch things which are in a language they are not familiar with is highly plausible. No apps, I'm just watching the shows and try learn at least one word a day. I found a YouTube account where she teaches Thai basics and that helped me to understand that Thai language is word based not tense and heavy grammar based. So if you know the words, you will start to understand the conversation more or less. π

Thank you..π I actually want to learn many languages but I kinda fumble and give up half way. π Tried to learn Spanish with Duolingo and got quite far but lack of practice and communicating with others plus me not engaging with any Spanish media made me forget what I learnt.. π Currently as I am consuming a vast amount of Thai content, I am kinda picking it up a lot faster, sometimes I can even understand a full sentence without subtitles.. I should put a little more effort but I'm lazy..ππ But as I said earlier, I learned an entire language (I can just speak it, can't read or write in it) from consuming TV too much when I was a child, I believe I will learn Thai sooner or later even though I know a child's brain picks things up faster than an adult. Also Thai language have words which sounds close or similar to my first and 3rd language. So it's quite easy for me to pick up.. π Hope I can learn languages on hope on people inventing Doremon style communication gadgets in the future...!!π

I am currently living in Canada and English is also my second language. I know 3 languages only and have to continuously juggle between them because I talk to my parents and people from my country in one language(my main language), talk in English to communicate with people outside the house (2nd language) and inside the house, my housemates speak in a language which most of us by default learn from excessive TV content from our childhood which belongs to our neighbouring country (My 3rd language). π My brain farts all the time maintaining 3 languages at once to continuously shuffle between them... ππ

Also in that same room Zouey made a mighty speech offending First and Captain and also made them mad at Nont in the process..!! He consoled Nont at the same place where his brother was kept hostage... The nerves on that guy..!!

He is definitely mentally unstable and needs therapy because of what Jason Lee did to him. But I think he definitely knew Playboyy was owned by Jason Lee because why would a VIP keep a hostage in someone else's club? And Nant's demise was just after Jason showed up in Thailand.
