Well doesn't all the romance drama have more or less the same tropes? And I think this is LGBTQA+ because of the representation and the background characters, like the politician, Mek and their beliefs, their fights and yes the relationship between Rain and Sunshine plays a bit part in it. Also yes it doesn't exclusively have any impact for Sunshine being Gay (but I think he is Bi) on the storyline but for me I think the entire show showed a POV from a person, how small changes can have big impact and removal of a personal who is fighting for rights, shows you how world would have been be without them.
P.S. funny enough I kinda always noticed that a good portion of these series has a rich ML paired with a poor ML. And it's actually kinda common romance trope not only in Thailand but across the Asia (I'm an Asian too, specifically South Asian). 😂 I always laugh about it all the time with my friend that even if it's between two male characters, this romance trope stays the same all across. 😂
