Giyun might be more predictable than we think I mean his whole obsession was that VK Media site .It was the only logical conclusion he go to the place he was so obsessed over. Side note even if Giyun and his mom made it overseas why did they think they would be able to be successful the entire world knows about his crimes because it was livestreamed and broadcast around the world (something Bitna mentioned ) they would have interpol after them then extradited back to Korea. Even if they somehow managed to escape the law he would be an international fugitive, also his money and assets including his slush fund were probably frozen and they probably found his overseas account. They would have to survive on the money his mom bought and that would run out.

I seriously thought the prosecutor had betrayed them turns out he really is loyal and was just stringing Giyun along and giving him a false sense of security all while secretly working to take him down Up until the last minute Giyun really thought the prosecutor was on his side. Giyun even willing handed over his smart watch.

you have to watch with subtitles or it won't make sense.Like I said despite their being video evidence Giyun kept using the deep fake excuse. It was actually WooHyuk's uncle who noticed his smart watch and suggested turning it in for evidence and because Giyun thought the prosecutor was on his side and it never occurred to him his own smart watch would hold such irrefutable evidence he turned it over so the watch was obtained legally.

His mother was an accomplice to his crimes and she should get some prison time…
I think their punishments fit what they did to other people Giyun tried to kill Ju Kyung by blowing up her car which resulted in her sister dying ,his car was blown up .Hye Rim turned a blind eye to her son's crimes and locked Jaclyn up in a mental hospital, by claiming she was insane now she's really blind and insane with no one by her side and no son to rescue her

There was also the humidity of the house which didn't match the office and when they showed the heart rate go up Giyun was still in the room it was all on the video, it was when his father woke and saw what he was doing there's literal video evidence that coincides with everything recording it in real time (of the day).He can't use the excuse of running up the stairs or being angry because everything was caught on video . Giyun kept telling everyone the videos were deep faked but the smart watch recorded everything so he could no longer lie his way out of everything. Despite insisting he was innocent I think deep deep deep 10,000 fathoms deep Giyun knew he was finished that's why he try to flee instead of getting investigated like he said he would he had no intention of being investigated.

Should I try to watch this?
Nope it was five months of frustration up until Thursday's episode the villain kept getting away with everything it was really annoying seeing his smug face every time he got away with his crimes

I don't think Giyun got an easy out I mentioned this in another comment, normally I don't like when they kill off villains, but even Giyun went to prison he would have found some way to escape (probably by pretending to be sick so they would take him to the hospital) killing him off the same way he tried to kill Ju Kyung was the only fitting way for him to go karmic retribution. Him going to prison felt too merciful for all the lives he ruined why he should live when people died because of his crimes

I blame the writer for dragging it out so long. Technically the revenge didn't really start at episode 30 it was more like being set up,but it didn't really start until much later.

his car blowing up is also good karmic retribution. I never thought of his punishment to be him being mute and immobile ,either he went to prison but since he showed no signs of remorse that felt too merciful in a way even him being immobile and mute still seems too merciful and Giyun doesn't deserve any mercy . Even for his own daughter he wouldn't do the right thing and turn himself to in to be punished for his crimes. So hopefully they killed him off we'll see in tomorrow's episode. I'm thinking he's probably maybe dead.

Is he though? It's not like they didn't try to take him down countless times like I said Giyun was just unbelievably lucky that people were gullible enough to believe his lies, but he wasn't smart enough to realize his own smart watch would implicate him and he just handed over incriminating evidence . It's not that everyone else was dumb and Giyun was smarter he just had enough dumb luck to make it seem that way.

I think that's the only reason Giyun likes his mother is because as you said she's an enabler. She's never once told him that what he was doing is wrong .

Boooooooo!!!! WTF was that ending!!!! I am so dumbfounded right now like come on writers...
Karmic retribution. Normally I don't like when they kill off villains but Giyun deserves it he showed no shame and no remorse and I doubt going to prison would make him see his wrongdoings. Giyun is evil to the core and if he was in prison he would probably find a way to escape best to kill him off in the most painful way the same way he tried to kill his own wife.
