so, what's his plan? to make her hate him to take off the bracelet without killing her? doubt that'll work. still hoping she didn't believe a thing he said to her and she figured out what he's trying to do. that's why she created that dream and although he knows it isn't real he gives in for a while cause he simply loves her.
so, if they take off the bracelet it will kill her (and probably harm him too through the heart curse) if they don't - as well (him too?) bc ChiDi will consume her power but that ChiDi woman will resurrect and his soldiers will be back. so, the only solution is that sword. I don't believe for a sec he'll kill her with that sword but maybe she intends to, the curse will break, he gets his strength back a/o his soldiers. since she knows she becomes the goddess maybe she rather wants to die as herself (then she doesn't become the goddess, does she? or at least she thinks so) than marry someone else. ofc he won't allow her to sacrifice herself so he wants to safe her (even if this means she won't be herself) and that's why she's begging him to not leave her and spend their last time together instead of saving her and seeing her become someone else's wife bc she won't be herself anymore.
what I don't get is, does she have to die to become the goddess or will she anyway? that old turtle god said, she didn't experience/see what she has to. so, maybe it's the war she has to experience and then she decides to kill herself but eventually becomes xilan anyway (bc of the sword?)
as much as I want this drama to go on like forever but I desperately need a happy ending, I'm willing to endure all the pain and suffering as long as it's going to be a happily ever after so I can enjoy even the angsty part when rewatching it cause I know in the end it's worth it, all will be fine
but today I can hardly pull myself together, feeling like a walking corpse, barely able to function, I've never been so emotionally immersed in a drama
it's truly the best drama I've watched so far, beautiful OST, incredibly well-written, gorgeous customes, stunning scenes, outstanding acting and overwhelming emotions... can't find enough words to give it the praise they all deserve
Could it be that she created that "dream" cause she doesn't believe what he said and wanna let him go and he stayed their for a while cause he deeply loves her and couldn't bear the pain to see her so hurt and also to ask her to wait for him and give her the promise to save her? But therefore he has to go, so he destroys the "dream "...
already too late....the desperate pain she's feeling by begging her man to stay and his almost breakdown when the love of his life is BEGGING him like THIS and all he can do is to ask her to wait for him🥺
