Some of the story were briefly explained like the evil vampire, cat man. The SML blood linage thingy was more like them being vampire slayers kinda but I guess they didn’t want to call it that then as for the reincarnation, nobody in real life knows if it’s real or not just like vampires fantasy story were there are basic characteristics but additional characteristics can be added (eg the object controlling whatnot, colorful eyes etc.) so I guess they added to the basic reincarnation being a complete generic copy of the person without the memories but they added a new attribute like same generic copy but with a new soul, if you noticed at the beginning that’s why the bite thingy happened. If you are wondering, Male lead is dead but only his memories live on.
I am not saying it wasn’t disappointing but it did answer almost all questions, the episodes were even too much because the whole story could have been enough for 10/12 episodes tbh. I’d rate it

OST - 6.0 ( it wasn’t really captivating tbh compared to other shows I watched or currently watching)
Rewatch - 5.0 depending on why or whom I watch it with.

I mean they didn’t take it totally seriously as if it was a real-situation, it was obvious that it was a show, do you get what I mean?

Episode 3 and 4 took a wild turn of events tbh, I didn’t expect the deaths and all the chaos so fast but I love how kdramas are becoming more realistic with time.

It is absolutely worth watching, I also usually don’t watch Joseon era due to preference but this got me hooked cuz of Ahn Eun Jin (huge fan), the great casts, cinematography, plots etc everything is worth a while, trust me.

Cuz these celebrities obviously had nothing to lose or gain than media attention so it was for fun for them unlike DEX for example, he is still new to the industry that’s why he portrayed his character a lot better cuz he need to convince and captivate the audience and the industry in order to get more casting for other shows, you get what I mean?
So using new people would be way better for a new concept type of show that has been long awaited for but oh well the damage has been done already. As for me, I can’t continue this after episode 2, I’ve too many interesting dramas on my plate and awaited dramas are airing soon too so…. 😁

But they could’ve portrayed their characters better still and director leave it as a real life situation in terms of continuity and not cut scene per stage

Okay I have to say this but what is Yoon Sol plan cuz does she want to move into the house or something? Cuz she doesn’t have to live with in order to carry out her revenge plan though or has she forgotten her mother's trauma haven’t healed completely? Her character keeps getting annoying every episode like why, latest in your current lovely homes with loved ones around and carry out your revenge quietly.
And Jin Woo should make up his mind already bout if he likes Sena or Yoon Sol, not being kind to Sena and liking Yoon Sol, Ho Bbang should man up and compete with Jin Woo because he’s becoming too relaxed and it’s annoying me too much 😪

It’s funny, entertaining I’d give it that but I think it missed the whole theme of the show in the sense that, it’s suppose to be a real life situation kind of show and not for entertainment purposes do you get what I mean? For instance, if there was a zombie apocalypse, nobody would be laughing and giggling. Them making poor decisions and mistakes can make viewers laugh or annoyed but it shouldn’t be intentional. It’s a variety show but that doesn’t mean it shouldn’t be taken seriously like The siren, Run for Your Money etc the concepts are kinda similar but it wasn’t taken lightly by the casts but there was bloomers, mistakes and poor decisions which gave viewers mixed reactions because it wasn’t intentional. Then when an episode is ending, the next episode should continue from the previous episode not from an entire new scene like in episode 1 ending and 2 beginning( the car accident was on a clear road scene then episode 2 started at the supermarket suddenly and only the sound engineer was injured or worst dead, every other person luckily survived or unharmed, just how? Don’t tell me it’s because they’re main cast. To begin with this show shouldn’t have main cast at all, just cast members would be fine so nobody is favored in any situation ( a support role like a supermarket manager could even survive till the end kinda show, unpredictable)
After all the hype and claims of it being unscripted, the cast members execution was poor tbh causing the show poor quality, recommendation, viewership etc
If season 2 ever happens, the cast don’t have to be celebrities tbh and the scene should move accordingly like it’s a live recording divided into episodes and not cut scenes like in movies or dramas.
