I think saying she "loves" him is a stretch. She’s infatuated with him and will stop at nothing bc she’s used…
Most people are viewing from a single standpoint, in no way are we saying the princess ways are okay or justifiable. One question, why did they even attack the FL kingdom, isn’t it to show how powerful they are? Look, in those days, act of mercy were only shown under certain circumstances simply because nobody wanted to appear wake. Remember the king being reluctant at first when the war broke out knowing fully well that there’s nothing he could do to save his empire regardless he stood his ground, why, PRIDE. If you look at most of the characters from an objective perspective, you’d notice there is some sort of pride in wanting to make a point without actually weighing the pros and cons. At this point, ML, FL, SFL, RE could die which is possible but instead of hoping for a happy ending, why not take some of the moral lessons from this beautiful piece.
As someone mentioned earlier, what if the opening scene at season 1 episode 1 is actually the ending which actually makes a lot of sense at this point.
That’s exactly what I wrote before this your comment too. I don’t hate her at all cuz this is what everyone…
The chances are low but this is a Korean drama to be exact so the possibility is 50/50. Did you see how meant to be ended? And there are more dramas like that too so I wouldn’t be surprised. I want justice to prevail but then again, zero expectations is the priority at this point.
P.s. please let’s restrain ourselves from name calling cuz at the end of the day, it’s just a discussion chat room and nothing we say can change the outcome of this drama cuz it’s been already scripted, thank you 😊
I think it's cute you think she will have a redemption arc. Lmaooo I highly doubt that, she's definitely gonna…
I know she was frustrated and all but in reality and given the circumstances, a person that wants to live to see another day wouldn’t speak the way she did. I know she’s the villain in the story but you know kdrama always have a way of justifying Second leads and all but I don’t know if she’ll plot with Ryang Eum though but that’ll be disheartening to see
Am I the only one who is not hating this Princessa and is actually finding her character to be very interesting?…
That’s exactly what I wrote before this your comment too. I don’t hate her at all cuz this is what everyone including ML, FL and SFL have done or are doing atm. ML is in love with another’s wife, FL loved another’s partner and now love another man while being married so at least, SFL is in love with a single man. Most may say she should let him go cuz he already refused but how many of us actually practice that when we’re in love? Most people keep trying to persuade others so they would love them back or reciprocate back even if it takes time which is what she’s doing atm. Her methods may be deemed wrong but given the time/era, I myself, would proudly say ML and FL are extremely lucky to be honest cuz she can easily kill FL and marry ML even if he doesn’t love her, simple as ABC.
I feel before the end of this season, the princess would learn a lot from them. Then FL should never doubt the love of ML cuz nobody would be so persistent and consistent to the point of risking their lives for another except for love and it doesn’t have to be romantic, it could be agape love but Love truly is powerful. We all know the love warfare is just getting started though but I hope Jong Jong is safe at least😭😭
P.s it’s just because this is a drama though cuz if it was real life, FL would’ve died in this episode. FL was so nonchalantly stubborn due to her pride at the beginning of this episode, even if ML was consistent, her attitude alone towards the intruders (princess alone) could’ve gotten her killed. She should better be grateful that the princess is lovestruck. In real life, the princess would just kill her (not offering her to the king or whatnot captive game). In doing so, the princess might not steal ML heart but it’ll be guaranteed that he definitely won’t have FL cuz she’d be dead.

Right cuz at first I was wondering why that scene was shown cuz the next scene had ML on his bed so it didn’t make sense at first but now that you mentioned it, it does 😌
