Actually "chan", "rao", "ku", "hom" (I don't know if I write it correct but it pronouce like that...) are the same meaning no matter what gender is. But "ku" is kind of rude (not actually rude but you only said that with person you close to and at the same age). About "ka" and "krab", it's true that "ka" is for female and "krab" is for male, but she had to use one of those two or she can uses both it's totally okay, she can't dropped it otherwise it would be rude and informal. About "pu ying" I agree with you.

Who said people would be ok if Nueng or Palm lied? I wouldn't ok with that.
