Thanks so much for the detailed explanation. I didn't realize that some scripts are being written while the show's airing. Maybe that's why some endings can seem rushed or disjointed. Here in the West, most, if not all, are preproduced. That said, I really enjoy K Dramas and prefer them over most of the shows in the US.

Question...Before the actors sign on the dotted line to a drama, do they know the outcome of the story? If so, do they have any input if they disagree?

I was crushed.

I don't know how to feel about the ending. Had I known the outcome, I'd probably quit early on. I tend to stay away from sad endings. I watch K dramas for escape, not to get depressed. That'll teach me for not waiting until all the episodes are out. I'm a TY fan and hope his next venture won't end like this.

I've been reading tons of negative posts regarding the finale. You're the only one that I completely agree with. I also enjoyed the drama and loved the leads & the 2nd leads. Maybe they left it 'open' for a possible sequel?

She's not your typical K drama female lead. That said, I like that she's stiff and gawky. She has the talent of delivering lines with such a straight face and yet, draw to the viewer's emotions (at least for me). I teared up a few times. She must be doing well as she'll be the FL in Squid Games 2.

Wouldn't it have been great if we had like a Hotel Del Luna vibe with odd/supernatural guests? With ML's two buddies working as staff all along? That would have been entertaining and add a bit of comic relief.

Do watch. It's far from perfect, but the leads will keep your attention. Their character development is so good and the chemistry is on point.

Why am I still watching this !@#$%& show? My intelligence has definitely been compromised. Thank God we're near the end. I frankly could care less who they end up with at the end. Ultimately it never works. As for the editing...they all should be fired ! Let's just make it the Ming gyu/Ji young show and how to be master emotional manipulators.

See you in my 19th Life is one drama where both 2nd Leads are likable...for once. I wish K drama writers would break the obvious formula and make dramas more unpredictable.

For the life of me, I don't get his appeal. Sure, his aloofness, at first, may be attractive, but moving forward, that becomes annoying. You know the old saying, what draws you initially is the very thing that'll eventually turn you off.

I am sooooo over Gye-ore & Jiwon's fixation with Jiyoung. What the hell?! The other girls don't stand a chance. The dates were painful to watch as all three men were guarded with their words and so stilted with their body language. I'm beyond frustrated. What saved me was 'dateless' Hushin. He's the man (my fav) and his attitude was the best. Mark my word, he'll get his girl at the end.

That tells you how much I know about KDramas :)
