Lin Jinlou is not an easy character to play. He is rough, a womaniser, aggressive and yet, he treats those who are close to him kindly and lovingly like his little brother, Yuan'er and Marquis Yong's son, De'er.

I do notice that his little brother from the same mother, Yuan 'er is xactly like him. Hahahaha.

I have no issues with the ML's character except he hit her. I think he only hit her once.

The ML character isn't polished by the writer. We begin to see the change in his behaviour: he gradually became a better man. In fact, his actions towards the bad characters were well-proportioned.
