It could be a story about XY's descendants.

A poltical marriage. CX unites Hao Ling and the Middle Plains by marrying both women. Ying Xue is a former princess of the Chen Rong state.

Ying Xue actually realised that she had never known the real CX until their first night together as husband and wife. He rejected her.

When they consumated their marriage, it was dark so YX never saw his face but she could hear him calling XY's name during the session. This is the bargain she had asked for so she couldn't complain at all. He treated her with respect during the day but at night, XY was only in his mind.

He pushed XY to TSJ and FL but never wanted her to marry either one of them. That was the plan.

I can't stand Xing Yue and her pouts. She becomes the Empress in Chapter 30. Ah Nian becomes another CX's Empress in Hao Ling in the end.

Does anyone know the third book of this trilogy? Once Promised is about XY's parents, Lost You Forever - XY and CX; and the third one?

The ML is OK but I love the story as I've read the novel. So, I'll watch it.

Never liked drams with the FL, TBH.


Yang Zi seems to be the only actress at the moment who can do both comedic and dramatic roles.

He knows but when it comes to XY, CX becomes possessive. He doesn't like those women in his life except what they can do for him to achieve his goal.

Those women only care for power and prestige so they are married to him. Except Ah Nian. She loves him even though CX was a hostage prince in her country.

this is bitching. Come on, if the person wants to make things up, let her be. This is a free world. You won't be able to control what people wish to do.

His scenes are awesome?

Me too. Felt a bit disappoint to see WCR as the female lead. The drama is short, though.

Is it a sad drama? If yes, I am in because Zhang Wan Yi is good at sad dramas.

He is a masterpiece. His acting skills are superb. He is the reason why I keep watching LYF and this is the first time I am watching his drama.

The Bond (2021) is another good drama with him as a ML.

I am going to watch Operation Moscow because he is also in the drama.

The original script was probably consistent with the novel.

Watch The Bond (2021) if you are into Zhang Wan Yi (Chang Xuan)'s acting. It's a good sad modern drama while waiting for the next episode of LYF.

If you like watching ZWY's acting, The Bond (2021) is awesome. ZWY is the second brother. His story is very sad but with a happy ending.
