ZWY is classically trained actor so he is seasoned when it comes to costume dramas.

He reminds me of a Shakesperean stage actor. That's why when ZWY delivers a emotional line, he is brilliant.

In Episode 11, we feel Chang Xuan's agony, sorrow, pain ie. his yearning for Xiao Yao who has been missing from his life for 3 hundred years. He cries while he is telling Xiao Yao about his long lost cousin sister.

He is brilliant.

Another young actor who could do the same as ZWY is Wang Xing Yue. He was in One and Only. He's awesome.

LYF is 100% better than The Legend of Anle. Anle is very disappointing for a big star like Dilraba. I kept asking why she was not offered the LYF script. She would have become the a TV drama goddess.

Yang Zi is awesome in this drama.

The carefree experience is forever lost. From now, it's all about the game of thrones. It's pretty boring to read in the novel.

Deng Wei is so tall.

Bad costumes, bad CGIs so far. I cannot believe the women expose themselves in those costumes for that kind of period.

Ashes of Love is about Gods and deities but their costumes are awesome. But, this drama? Out of place.

Bad haircut award goes to Chi Yun before his hair grows long making him more manly. Come one, when I see a warrior with that kind of shoulder-length haircut, I would laugh at him instead of fearful of him. Even if he kills me, I would still be laughing at his hairstyle until I draw my last breath.

OMG. My heart wept when Chang Xuan asks Xiao Yao whether she's in pain. His voice is so gentle and yet we could hear the pain and regrets in the tone. A masterpiece of ZWY's acting skills. I hope he wins the Best Actor award.

That scene will hopefully come onto the audience with a BIG BANG!

Sorrow is the word. Painful is just too plain to describe his yearning for Xiao Yao up to this moment.

I am really looking forward to the scene when he finally realises that Xiao Yao is forever lost to him. I can't wait to see him deliver that emotion.

Get a box of tissues ready, mates.

He is so damn good at delivering the painful emotions.

I like Chang Xuan's emotional monologues which are always flawlessly executed. The audience could feel the avalanche of painful emotions falling onto them.

Just like an English Shakesperian actor doing a monologue on stage if you have been to a Shakespeare's play before.

Episodes 11 and 12.

XY is not a man, unfortunately. CX just marries any girls from influential families to help him secure his throne.

He cannot act like a Fei Fei in her presence, come on. Not manly.

"I am a 9-headed demon in battles but in your presence, I am just a Fei Fei."

I can't wait for the scene where CX, XL and TSJ see XY's face for the 1st time.

In Episode 14, all three guys are together on the same spot. Wow.

In the novel, XL dies in the battle. The production team shot the scene where XL dies.
