I find staring between the leads can be annoying. This body language is so common in K= and C-dramas.

The Story of Minglan is the best among all. I have watched the series twice but am going to have another go next year. You'd never get bored from watching this series.

The Legend of Zhen Huan is another.

I was fine with the dubbing. Nothing is perfect but the acting was perfect.

Not as good as The Story of Minglan but better than most of the dramas released in 2024.

Any new series that are worth watching?

Zhao Lushi's drama and Esther Yu's aren't exactly as good as I had hope so far.
